Bump.

I was told they are 300/250, but I have to admit they didn't feel super stiff in the rear. Maybe someone else can confirm the part #'s

ok I just found out from that catalog that your GC springs (and mine) are indeed 300/200, for the rear springs the numbers stand for this:

180: spring length/height in mm
64: spring outer (I think) diameter in mm
35: spring rate in N/mm

the spring rate can be converted to lb/in: for every 10 N/mm, the spring rate in lb/in. is 57. so cross multiplying

10/57 = 36/X (where X is spring rate in lb./in.)

X = 199.5, or 200 if you round up

wow and all these years I thought I was riding on 250/180 gc's

64=outside diameter in mm? You mean the spring or the diameter of the coil when viewed from above/below? Thats 6.4 cm its definitely not the coil thickness. More likely the radius of the spring when viewed from above. I'm confused.

also there could be some error in your conversion ie 199.5 represents the slop from not carrying over the last decimal;thus it is 200 lb/in exactly. See what it works out to for the fronts. if its 299 then we know there is some error in the constants you are using to convert.

uhhhh... bump.

BTW that hothsot intake is sweet.

looking back at the catalog the 64mm stands for the ID of the coil when lookiing at it from the top.

also there is no conversion for the fronts, the last number on the coil represents the spring stiffness

the funny thing is that the front springs use standard measurements (inch) while the rear springs use metric measurements. The front spring numbers stand for the same thing except in inches:

0700: 7 inch height
250: 2.5 inch inner diameter
0300: 300 lb/in stiffness
