ok I just found out from that catalog that your GC springs (and mine) are indeed 300/200, for the rear springs the numbers stand for this:
180: spring length/height in mm
64: spring outer (I think) diameter in mm
35: spring rate in N/mm
the spring rate can be converted to lb/in: for every 10 N/mm, the spring rate in lb/in. is 57. so cross multiplying
10/57 = 36/X (where X is spring rate in lb./in.)
X = 199.5, or 200 if you round up
wow and all these years I thought I was riding on 250/180 gc's
