subframe connectors

i have seen and read a lot of B.S. about people looking to build subframe connectors for b13's. i have decided to build them and sell them on here.
they will be ready to be shipped in 1 week from 10-25-07.
if you would like a set you can pay now and you will have one of the first sets to be shipped out.
i may be able to offer an aluminum version for an extra $50-$75, which should save at least 15 lbs.

details:
tig welded
tube constrcution
around 30lbs
price:$180-$200 shipped

this will give you an idea of what they will look like.

and this would require some welding right? also, will it be powder coated or painted?

edit: also forgot to ask time frame. I'd be okay with spring

they would require plates to be welded on and then the rest of it would bolt together, this will help keep things smaller for shipping prices

That sounds good, I might have to do this. I am in Seattle.

Do you know of any place that does powder coating, so that I could pick them up from you, drop them off for power coating... and then swing back by when they are finished for install?

I'd suggest you start a GB on this... which there is a section for and specific things required for you to supply to Matt to get approved. If this is something more longterm, then you need to look into the advertising link at the top of the page.

Go here to start the GB process...

i think there is a place in pasco which is 30 mins away from me, that does powder coating.

i am using d.o.m. tubing with a wall thickness of 32 or 64 thousandths.

If these end up working out on aB 14 too, I'll be in for a set. Unpainted though, I know a few places locally that can powder coat.
