I *believe* it's a 53J. I'm not 100% sure though.

No it isn't available. However I went to the bin and pulled a 53J, and it lists N14 SR20DE and DET on the box.

Ok, let me bring this thread back, if only for a moment.

I bought out the local dealership's entire stock of 53J00 filters, because I'm a greedy sum bish and do my oil changes on a whim..... anyways, 10 filters later, I'm out. I go back to the dealership to "re-stock" myself, and......

....they don't have them anymore!? Did I miss something?

Thanks,
///h

Not on the forum much lately since neck injury - we'll be back at it soon, babying the n00bies.

JWT S4, HS 6, Home Depot Intake, Hypercoil 2s w/ KYB "GR-Poo", CF Sunroof Delete panel, and other crap - where's my interior?

Maybe they remember you and don't want to loose their entire stock?

They have to be ordered in 30 packs. I ordered a case almost 3 years ago when I started and still have 8 left. They really are a very slow mover!

Hmmmm.... that is no fun. Are OEM filters still the best way to go?

It was all I ever used in my RR motor. But I was wondering about the Mobil 1 oil filter (synthetic filter material), and the K&N Oil filter?

If your looking for a fresh batch of 53J filters, where Nissan did all the engineering already and has the micron count nailed already; call Scott at Nissan:
1-800-922-0489 ext. 331

Just arrived; a fresh 30 pack.
He'll mail you your filters.

He's thinking about swapping his b-13;}

I'm using a K&N HP-1003 on my 1990 GTI-R SR20DET and so far it's working great. Is this the correct one?
