Um, I have a BRAND NEW auto speedo sensor (SR20) also. Paid full price from mossy to go in my daily driver back when I swapped it over to auto, but the tranny blew up before I got around to installing it.

If anyone needs an auto sensor, LMK I'd be happy to sell it!

idk if this swap will work in a sr20 powered car because idk if the speed sensor would be calibrated to a 1.6 gauge......it has to be 1.6 auto tranny to 1.6 auto gauge....1.6 manual tranny to 1.6 manual gauge

I don't know about that one.. but I was under the impression the whole point was to convert your 2.0 powered vehicle from the needle guages to the cool digital guage found only on the NX1600.

The cluster will physically fit into your dash, but you'll have to rewire it. So far the only wiring diagram displayed is for a 91-92 SE-R with the analog cluster.

I have mr. sinistersentra doing a wiring diagram for me. But some of the wires on my digi cluster aren't the same as the diagram he has posted up here. Its possible the wires might have changed a bit over the years on the digi clusters too.

Yea... my digital cluster has 2-3 wires that don't match up on colors to the posted wiring diagram. IIRC, on my NX plugs..there is 2 slots that don't even have pins; the wiring diagram states otherwise.

Yeah I found some errors in my work that im going to correct and some wires you wont use depending on what factory options you have\ dont have or the NX1600 you got the instrument cluster out of had or didnt have.

OK, So has anyone successfully put a Digital Dash in a NX2000? IS the wiring for a 91-92 SER the same for the 92 NX2000. I am assuming they are. Does the tach and speedo come realitively close to accurate? And lastly, what is the deal with the speed sensor, I have a 92 NX2000 and I guess I need to undo the speedo cable and plug in a speed sensor. Anyone have a speed sensor for a MANUAL NX2000? I saw Rob has one for an auto

The wiring is the same for a 92 NX2000, so in a sense I have successfully done it, you need to ditch the speedo cable and the analog speed sensor and switch it out with a 93-94 Sentra\NX electric speed sensor and run wires from it to the back of the cluster. I live near you so if you need help or dont feel comfortable doing it yourself give me a holla.

^ Thats cool man. I appreciate it. Im sure Ill be able to get it, but If I have some problems, it good to know someone can help. I have a few friends down here that are big SR20 nuts. My buddy just put an SER cluster in his 94 4door with an sr20, and he rewired EVERYTHING on it, so I could recruit him if needed.

Thanks The Wiring Man

One more question, for when I go looking will all 93-94 b13's have the speed sensor? And will I need a manual specific one, or would one from an auto work. It sounds like I will need a manual one because thats what I have.

im not completely sold on the idea of auto being different from the manual, it could be true, its just that Nissan usually doesnt change stupid little stuff like that, but you never know. I would get one out of a manual just to be on the safe side, auto if you dont have a choice.
