I have no idea,,, I was just following the thread and trying to do what had worked for others. I guess the tranny that is on the 2.0 is different that the tranny on the 1.6 (oviously) because there is no way that speed sensor will fit on my car.

ok I think your problem is your trying to use a speed pinion from a 91 manual NX1600 into your 94 auto sentra transmission, I think you need to get a pinion from a 93 manual NX 1600 or you could also try using one from a 93-94 sentra with a manual transmission. But a 93 NX 1600 manual is your best bet.

I might be jumping in here, TooQuikk,, but that is exactly what mine was doing. My digi was ready 30 and I was going at least 60. I did the pinion swap (pic's of the pinion above) and his recomendation followed.

just take your time. what i did was mark all the wires and made a diagram of what I HAD..... then went through the digram here pre marking everything (yes I had allot of tape up in there) but it worked for me, not to mention when the digi didnt work like i wanted it to (my half speed problem) the diagram of what I had make it cake work to get it back to the way it was so I could get my car back out on the road. Quickley

I used the one's from the cluster. I got mine from the JY so when i got it I took the connectors also. Now,,, what I also did (forgot to mention) for the mini plug, i did some splicing for those (i think) 12 wires. Know what i mean? those wires that go into the mini plug i spliced a wire into it and then ran that wire to the mini plug leaving the other wire still there so i could go back, as for the other plugs those were just a matter of poping the pins out like any other nissan plug and putting them into the NX plugs so they would fit into the digi cluster. Dont think it is pretty behind my cluster, It is ugly!! but all worked and it is safe. Now i am wishing I took a picture or two.

As long as your wires meet up and is able to plug into the cluster I would think any type of plug will work. You do have the connectors for the digi right? the ones that go to the back of that cluster? what ever you use inthe middle doesnt really matter as long as your wires meet.

ok cool. now, i went and took out my speedometer and i had no idea there was a cable connected to the back of the speedo. now the sh*t doesnt work. lol. so all i have to do is take the plugs off the analog cluster, cut and splice with the digi cluster wires?
