Quick question. Does the JDM RR come with sodium filled exhaust valves? I didn't see that covered at all in this thread.

I think the valves are normal valves like normal de valves... just may have different heights.

There is some false info about the regular de valve covers not fitting... they do fit.

This is true. At least I can confirm that basically everything from the top exterior a low port engine will swap over. Intake manifold, exhaust manifold, valve cover, water piping, engine brackets, mounts and brackets, carrier bearing, belt driven accessories. You can even retain the RR oil filter housing but its a very tight fit the filter against the power steering line. Not sure about the oil pan.

In case anybody needs to know you can fit old style mounts, manual shaft, neutral safety switch, and interior electronics from an old (1993) automatic tranny to a RR-gen automatic tranny as I put a 2001 A/T into a 93 G20. You have to use the old neutral safety switch for the old car which requires the valve body to come out and the manual shaft to change over

Sorry to bring this post back up but im trying to find an answer to a question that hopfully you guys can answer. On a RWD SR20DET S13 engine, when you switch to the RR lifters to help prevent the HLAs from colapsing at higher RPM'S can you use the GTIR rocker arms *** they are already slotted on both arms? I have the VE pump and RR lifters but i wanted to know instead of getting my rockers machined cant i just buy new GTIR rockers? My rockers are pretty beat up so i wanna get new ones and arnt the GTIR rockers the same thing as the HKS black coated rockers?
