How is it the Avenir and GTIR MAFs can hold more hp over the SER cars being that they are both 50mm? Also would the MAF come w/an Avenir/GTIR engine if you were doing a swap?

The hole size of the MAF has nothing to do with it.

The sensor for the GTIR and Aveneir have a larger voltage span than the SER ones.

So do the GTIR and Avenir actually run above 5 volts, or is there just a "wider range" (for lack of a better term) between 0 and 5v?

I really want to know if the B15 RR SR20DE MAF is swappable for the GTi-R SR20DET MAF. I read somewhere that they both use the same setting number of 5 on a GReddy e-Manage, does this mean that I can just pull out the GTi-R and put in my B15 RR MAF?

So since the Maxima and VE/pathfinder maf flow the same, could you use a Maxima maf with an ecu tuned for a VE/Pathfinder maf?

SO with those HP ratings it won't matter if you NA or boosted? like i will be using the DE AFM with the sr20ve for simplicity reasons there shouldn't be any problems with this?

Sounds like the guy mentioning the 36mm GTIR MAF has a MAF modified for Rally Use. From what i understand Rally regulations require 36mm restrictors. If this is the case then he should remove the restrictor

IIRC, they are the same. U12/W10 share and U13/W11 share. Or, it could be, that all four are the same. I don't remember which...
