So was this a good tach to begin with? You could always get an RPM controller ($30) and go from there. I like sleeper gauges/lights though. Makes the car cleaner.

XxToKeSxX - You can do it just by purchasing an msd rpm switch and wiring it into a bulb.

Your stock tach could be that far off or your not getting the proper rpm signal.

Is English your native language? If not, that's fine. If it is, then please try typing it more clearly.

Do you have your tAchometer set to the proper cylinder setting? Some tAch's have a selector for the # of cylinders your engine has. What wire did you tap into to get your signal?

well now i somewhat was messing with it n now is like 3,000 rpm higher then the rpm on the cluster, the way how i hooked it up was the green wire from the techometer to the other green wire on the distirbutor n it still reads different, then i tried hooking it up to all the other color beside black n it was the reading, *** i have a b13 n those has a coil so i know how to hook it up from there but since the b14 doesn't im stuck...

That's for B13's/OBDI, his car is a 200SX, so it's a blue/orange wire.
