Give up the color of the wheels man. Is that a bronze duplicolor wheel paint? It looks hot.

Thanks. Thats what I figured so I went their website and saw that color. How many cans of bronze did it take to do all 4 wheels?

two cans should do the job... I usually use around 2-3 coats and then 2-3 coats of clear. No clear on satin texture wheels

Thanks for the write-up...
From this...

To this...

Hammered finish, sorta like wrinkle finish, kinda hard to see but you can see it great in person.

Tape off the letters for the bare finish...

This is my first time doing this but it was fun, I used an entire can of clear...

Looks good. How do you polish the letters with out scratching your freshly painted valve cover? tape around the letters to protect the paint or tape over the letter before you paint?

I had some elves tape off all the letters.
No, I used a razor knife and tape on the letters while I watched a football game.
Took maybe an hr doing that, then about 3 days of painting on & off, then I carefully removed the tape and wrapped some sand paper around my idex finger and ran it on the letters just to brighten them up. After the letters were bare I sprayed 2 more coats of clear.
