How to: Install your Gti-r FSTB

For those who got in on the recent groupbuy (hopefully more to come). Theres a couple items which need to be relocated in order for the bar to fit.

As you can see here I removed the PS bracket and had to bend the metal tube a bit and tightened it back up with only 1 bolt. (left bolt in the right bolt hole)

As for the PS unit/line I did the exact same thing. Unscrewed both bolts and re bolted the top bolt to the bottom hole which lowered it about an inch and a half so the bar would clear it.

Hey KnuckleDuster thought you might like to see this, I am in the process of shaving my engine bay rebuilding the engine and getting rid of odds and ends like uneeded brackets and bolt hole. Before I shaved the one uneeded bolt hole for the power steering bracket I decided to try and figure out a way to get both bolt holes to line up with the bracket because I am not to keen on one bolt holding the bracket down, 1. for stability 2. for looks. After staring at the bracket and strut bar for awhile it dawned on me and well take a look for yourself:

Thats the way it should go no bending of the lines needed just unbolt the hard line from the hose and loop the power steering hard line through the inside of the strut bar and there you have it.

No I didnt have to bend anything IIRC, but that doesnt mean my line wasnt bent already, or your line isnt bent either. You can bend them for clearance just do it gently as possible.
