once you have removed all bolts around the bellhousing and the snap rings, the bell housing pulls up then you have to twist it to the right a bit so that the "U" groove on the bellhousing clears the gearstacks.

haha, it really isnt that hard. I remember my friend tried taking one apart years ago and for the life of us we couldnt figure it out...so we ended up breaking the bellhousing off with a hammer! Trans was fu*ked anyway, we just wanted to see it from the inside

anyone has more details on reinstalling the gear selector mechanism. I think I screwed up the install. I changed the input shaft bearing and cant get the gears to change.

trans interchange

Can one buy a none lsd transmission and make it an lsd with spare parts from blown lsd tranmisissions??? or are the cases different?
