No. Car went from tmic, to fmic, back to tmic with an air duct (best setup imo) then it was parted out almost 2 years ago.

Oh cool. I want to run a tmic on my nx2k and put a hood scoop on it. I'm interested in doing this, I dont want to run a resonator though (I'm lazy lol). I don't expect to pass emissions like that lol, but will this effect my performance?

You don't have to run a resonator, but the more you remove from your exhaust system the louder it will be. If you are lazy you probably shouldn't be modifying your car! It won't affect your performance but unless you run a muffler from the God's themselves your car is going to be loud and you WILL get tired of it if its a daily.

I don't suggest running a TMIC unless you can run some ducting from the scoop or at least tilt the IC so its in direct path of the scoop. If you do run a top mount see if you can upgrade your radiator as well because the nx's run a bit hotter because they are a little more confined.

Ok. Thanks for the input. I think i will run a resonator then if it will really make that much of a difference in daily driveability. BTW when you ran TMIC, what mods did you have and what was your 1/4 mile time? I just need an estimate. When I get my manifold I plan on wrapping it to help prevent heat from radiating also, but an upgraded radiator wouldn't hurt either I don't guess

totally stock bluebird and stock everything aside from a 3" dp and this exhaust i ran a 13.7 @ 107mph w/ a 2.3 60'. I was using hankook all seasons at around 20psi. Nothing major. this was on 12.5lbs w/ a t25. My car was fairly light.

how would this exhaust sound on a sr20ve with n1 cams?
do you thinkg i would lose any back pressure since its a n/a or might i gain a few ponies from it?
Current exhaust is old and crappy, i really like what you did in this write up and im considering doing this.

Yea I saw that on your thread, but it's cheaper to make.
I trying to get some freak headers as well so I would rather just make it myself.

It's all in the thread... you have to read to find it. I think performance peddlers... the part numbers there so you should be able to find it.

Just a little fyi. If any of you guys like me read this, and thought about doing it n/a, here's a quick tip. If you are on a n/a setup, along with the resonator, you will also have to run a cat or a muffler because of the lack of backpressure, which equals to lost horsepower. Just in case anybody was wonderin

^^^so you used the same resonator from your stock exhaust? If so, that might be why it's a little on the loud side

an n/a car will be loud....you can run a longer single magnaflow resonator from the cat to the 90 degree bend it will greatly help the sound and tone. I had a resonator on the last section of mine think it was 18"...ask those that heard it from the chicago convention...its sounded awesome! but you do have a nice clean install.
