The picture sr20ser1997 posted is great. I used it. However, for the few of you out there that have 1998 SE-Rs the colors of the ECU harness wires will be different for 2 wires. I don't remember exactly which ones. I made up a new diagram and sent it out to 10 or 12 people who asked for it. If any of you still have it please post.

I think the Power Supply and Throttle wires were a different color, and one of them has a wire right next to it that is the color on sr20ser1997 picture. It confused the hell outta me. I think I caught it on the 3rd recheck.

Short version: 1998 owners be careful, use the FSM and match lead for lead with Charlie's pic, not sr20ser1997's. Some of your wires are different colors.

hey guys just wired up my apexi safc2 with the above diagram
it powers up ok the engine starts and idles fine but theres a lot of smoke coming out of my exhaust and a strong smell of petrol
plus a lot of strong smelling petrol liquid dripping down from my exhaust
i didnt have a voltage for my knock sensor and it was reading 0 when the car was on
i didnt really set it up just set the amount of cylinders and a downward arrow for 3-5v as my first sensor was at about 5.1v and the second was about 0.1v
is something not right it seems to be running very rich / not enough air getting in?
but the car idles fine and revved fine just a lot of smoke

on my car i had two white wires - one with a black stripe and one with a red stripe
i connected the knock to the black and white one is that right
plus i never has a blue and orange wire it was more blue and pink
im not sure weather its just my settings or weather ive attached things to the wrong wires as i have a UK sr20de rolling rocker

its going for setup on friday anyway i just wanna save them some work so it costs me less hehe

just strip them back enough to put the leads on. the only one you fully cut to connect is the mass air.

I think it was the S14 Diagram I used to install my SAFC.. It ALL matches up. But I will double check that.

a 95 should be an obdII so this diagram I made should work for you.

if the blue wire on your version 1 is for a knock sensor then it is the same. i don't remember the first version having a knock sensor though. If you can find out what the blue wire is supposed to hook up to on safc side I could try to help you.
