ok after some searching i found out that if you have a b15 sentra SE, the highport cam on a lowport engine WILL NOT HELP. Apparantly even though it's a lowport, they fixed the intake cam. Just for reference

^The B15 SR20's come with 145hp vs the B13 and B14 140hp.

^What Harris said

^Where did you plan on buying a SR18 intake cam? If you have found a source, you should be able to get the specs on them to compare to the SR20 intake cam and your question would be answered.

Actuallt i planned on getting it from a guy who spun a bearing in his sr18, i was also planning on using the GTIR exhaust cam but after some reasearch the specs that i got showed that both the DE and the DET exhaust cams have the same specs, 248* of duration at 10mm of lift while the DE sports 240* of duration and 9.2mm of lift on the intake(i think, can't remember off hand but i have *** wren down) . the specs on the sr 18 cams i'm still having troble finding though

Hi guys, some interesting fact and questions here!

I'm from Holland, and bought myself (after driving a Nissan Micra/March 1.3 CG13DE for one year.....) another car. It's a P10 Primera powered by a low-port SR20De. Here in Holland you can buy these Primera's with a SR20De and the SR20DE engine. The difference is the "e" has 125 hp and the "E" has 143 hp.
Also the "E" engine is a high port.

There is a differende also between these two engines in CR! The low-port has 9,5:1 vs 10:1 on the high-port.

I've HAD a SR20De RR engine too, and put some JWT S3R cams in. The original power I had was only 132 HP, but with these cams I got to 173 HP 210 Nm!!

Now here's my thing...... I ordered some S3 cams at JWT, and Ben Pila told me the power I would gain should be around 15 HP. I truely think that I will gain MUCH more if I put these S3 cams inside my (standard 125 hp) low-port SR20De.
I believe the power I will gain should be the same as I had with the S3R cams inside the SR20 RR engine.

There is nobody who can give me a straight answer on this question....

*the 174 hp was also because I put a complete 2,5 stainless exhaust system under the car, and a modified intake, with a custom made TB 64mm. But these mods will also come on the P10 I have now.
