i don't think there would be anyway to engineer it to make it an "all bolt on affair." something will have to be cut to run the drive shaft, the only other alternative would be to run the drive shaft in the exhaust pipe space. good luck with that one. i don't know, maybe you thought of something i didn't while pondering AWD.
id be all for it! very few* celica owners have done a gt4 conversion! its doable with the right parts but i dont know how well it will function. yes a gt4 would be awesome but as a daily driver, id be nervious as hell with it. fuel cell in the hatch, hows that gona last for longer trips? dumping the exhaust for a driveshaft is the least of problems IMO.

Having it be a bolt on affair isn't what stops me. It's that nobody has done it so that we can see what parts you need and what sort of work is involved. If I had the room to do it I would find a POS shell and do the R&D on it, then do it to my car. If I had the room I'd also build a dual engine B13.
lol, bolt on? Never going to happen. Fuel tank is in the way, there's not enough room through the center of the car for a driveshaft. It's like saying Let's make a bolt-on RWD V10 kit.
kinda off subject but not really...something to investigate. whenever i go to pepboys, and its only when i go to pepboys, i tell them the year make and model of my car and they always ask me if it's the fwd or the awd. i always laugh to myself. autozone lists a tsuru (offtopic)
so if their computer thinks there is an awd sentra out there, is there? and if so why not just use those parts?
i say with exhaust plumbing moved, brackets welded on to chassis, gti-r fuel tank, rear end, tranny, the whole rear of the gtir suspension, lil bit longer drive shaft
hey it can be done.. it can... not impossible but youll have some fabbin to do..
the tank would sit higher on b13 so youd have to lose the spare tire place but it can be done..

If you want an awd b13 or b14 then a dumby version of what Justin said... Just weld the damn N14 Chassis to your b13 or b14 shell. Its the only easy way. No one will actually take this thread seriously and I cant believe people even bother with ideas on it still. No one will actually act on it. Its just an annoying thread that people keep reviving and it needs to die.
