You are correct. The b13s and only the 95 SER(B14) are OBD I and the 96-98 SERs/98-99 SE(L)s are OBD II.

This thread is an awsome one though. Im gonna put this in my favorites. One project of mine is to create what we like to call here in Ohio, the XE-R.
A four door Sentra XE b13, and throw a SR into it. Bamm... XE-R lol. It will be the sex for a winter beater.

I didn't have to mess with the altenator harness on mine and if you use a b14 sr20 harness it will hook-up to the under dash connectors. I used a highprot harness and had to rewire all the under dash harnesses

I have a UK sr20de the RARE Red Top which is a Highport. It's a automatic though, I will save the shifting for another project. Called the guys at JGY and they said a STOCK B13 SE-R harness would work from the 91-94 Classics. This swap is RARE because of the auto setup. Been searching about the harness for 2weeks now.

Yea a regular b13 harness should work, there will be some plugs that have no place because of the lack of egr and such

use the b14 sr20 harness switch over sensors from a lowport sr20 and if your going to use the det ecu make an adapter, I think its nissanforums.com that has a sticky to do so. If not you can try rewiring the under dash harnesses like I did using a b13 harness, I did it cause I didn't what to have get all the lowport sensors and make an adapter, but its a bitch!

Heads up for all people interested in doing a swap with a AUTOMATIC. If you get the HIGHPORT sr20de, the harness and ecu will be hard to find! You have to remember that they only made THREE YEARS of the HIGHPORT motor "91-93" and the "93" model is the only year they made it in a AUTOMATIC. Some people say it came in a "91" model as well, but why wouldn't they just make'em in all three????
Anyway bought to drop the UK RARE RED TOP in real soon!!! Also purchased a LOWPORT sitting in my storage building right next to my UK BEAST!!! Didn't know which one I was going to go with so i just got the BEST OF BOTH WORLDS!!!!

the motor mounts between the b13 & b14 sr20 are the same but since you are going from a 1.6 to 2.0 you will need the tranny mount, rear mount (might be the same dont remember), pass. side and the front dog bone is the same hope this helps

Okay i got a blown 98 200sx se and i just ran across a good deal on a blue bird. Ive been piecing it together, only trouble im running into is the ECU and Wiring. So do i get a 96-98 Engine Harness along with 96-98 Interior harness and Cluster and a 96-98 ECU MT since im getting a manual tranny. Or can i do b13 ecu and harnesses....??What about hooking up to my cluster with the b13 harness, is it just simply splicing?

Thanks

does the car not have an interior harness? it really should already have that harness in it. you need to get a b14 harness, it will hook up to all the interior plugs and will pretty much hook up to the engine with little problem, if you use the bb maf you'll need to swap the plugs on the harness and you'll also need to swap the coolant sensor. On the ecu you can either get a b14 ecu re-programed or run the bb ecu, either one helps to be manual but doesn't have to be.

It has 1.6 b14 interior harness in it now, Just thought i had to switch over to the 2.0 harness. As far as ecu which one is easier to run. I was thinking a US SR20DE ECU since it seems to work better...(from what ive read). But does it have to be re programming? i know that could take a month or two.
