This is a great thread btw . Im interested in doing the swap but my nx is my daily driver so taking the time to do it is a big commitment. I assume it might take a week if everything goes without a hitch. Can any one make a list of the parts needed for the swap?

another quick question lol, just want to make sure, do any sr20 mounts work? or do you need the mounts from the same chassis, like b13 mounts in a b14, are they the same? also *** about teh shift linkage, chassis specific or all the same?
I have nx2000 and b13 sr20 motor mounts in mine...but i had pthanes pressed into them, and they stick out a lil bit...so its a lil more work but worth it.
If you have a 1.6 manual you can use the tranny and rear...some say you cant but i did and it works just fine...
i just got a 94 xe auto olready put 2.0 in
with shift linkage
and harnest
and pedales it has 49005 on the odometer im trying to figure out a few thing about the interior harness i am trying to put in a 92 se-r interior harnest into the 94 xe any type of info about the 92 se-r harness going into the 94xe body would be appreciated only thing i am stumped on for the moment cant sceem teh get skimatics for both harness's
dont worry about the interior harness, you dont need to change that. plus you dont even need to get a sr20 ecu harness, the ga16 harness works just fine.

well thier is also another ssue with the cluster it is being changed for the se-r cluster b/c the xe was auto everything has been switched over from and se-r but to switch over the tack the 94 has electrical clusted and s-er clusted is a manual talking abou the speed and conectors, me and splicing done get along very well along with frustration just trying to find the best way to get situation worked out

you really used your ga16 harness?? no problems at all??
yeah i used my ga16 harness. no problems at all. yes i used my ga16 cluster tell like weaks ago i upgraded to an sr20 cluster just because i kept pegging out the ga16 speedo.

What speedo sensor you using...if ur using a 1.6 with 2.0 cluster it wont read right. or vise versa.
Also i think i found out why people are having a hard time with the shifting linkage...
i used 1.6 tranny mount and rear mount with the linkage...im thinking when you switch to the sr20 rear mount the hole that bolts up to the bracket is positioned differently. therefor having problems getting in and out of gear...
