HOW TO: Read ABS Sensor code

The LED on the ABS control valve unit indicates there is a problem in a particular circuit by the number of flashes.For examlple, five flashes, seperated by one second intervals, indicate a code 5, which means there is a problem in the left front wheel sensor circuit. There is a 5 to 10 second pause at the end of a code, then the control unit repeats itself.

Number of flashes:
1=Left front actuator solenoid circuit
2=Right front actuator solenoid circuit
3=Both front actuator solenoid circuit
5=Left front wheel sensor
6=Right front sensor
7=Right rear wheel sensor
8=Left rear wheel sensor
9=Motor and motor relay
10= Solenoid valve relay
15=Sensor rotor
16=Sensor unit
Warning light on dash and L.E.D is "off"=Power supply and or ground circuit.
