traditional rom info???

Looks like there are a lot of questions but no answers in this section. Is there any actual support for the traditional rom board? I would assume that the realtime is completely different- and so if I order this setup -- what can I do?

Or it's just that easy to use. :P

It's really not much different than a RTv1, just much slower to make changes on. An RTv1 is just an emulator and a consult adapter packaged together- With a regular consult adapter and a burner you've got the same capabilities in a basic board, just to make a change you have to remove the chips, burn them, then put them back in. The B14 ECU is a bit more of a pain in the butt to work with as the daughterboard is upside down in the ECU, so to change chips you have to carefully unscrew it and fold it over.

ugh, I look at these instructions and I feel like i'm reading an alien language. The process makes sense but it seems as though I will be spending the same amount of money on the burner, software, board, that I should just buy a plug n play. Not to mention that if this was cheaper I would probably just mess it up.
