It's really not much different than a RTv1, just much slower to make changes on. An RTv1 is just an emulator and a consult adapter packaged together- With a regular consult adapter and a burner you've got the same capabilities in a basic board, just to make a change you have to remove the chips, burn them, then put them back in. The B14 ECU is a bit more of a pain in the butt to work with as the daughterboard is upside down in the ECU, so to change chips you have to carefully unscrew it and fold it over.
