That's a big can of worms.

to make the boost, you need the right turbo and the correct exhaust for it (you may or may not need a different one than you already have).
to handle the boost, you need new internals.
for fuel, you will need a fuel pump, regulator, injectors, and a new and extended fuel map to cover the new injectors, fuel psi, and characteristics of the new turbo if you got one.
to handle the air flow you will need a new maf, and the correct ecu programming for that.
for valvetrain, you will need heavier springs to reduce float, and you may want to get cam gears to reduce overlap
possibly a new oil pump and water pump, and I have heard of ppl incorporating oil piston squirters too.

Regardless of how much power you are pushing i recommend getting some rocker stoppers if you have a hydro valvetrain

That's about all I know. talk to someone who has turboed an SR20 for the details and any extra stuff you have to do on our cars.

you gotta be kidding me............ do a search. with that type of question you wont make very many people happy.

BTW if you dont know anything abou forced induction and want to run 12's then I suggest you leave your car alone. You'll probably wreck it.

My buddy with a donut shop can hook you up. He goes through a deep frying process that gives the pistons a crispy crust , then he either coats them with a low friction glaze, or a lubricatn absorbing powerder. Mmmmmmmmmmm... Pistons

first of all, what's with the capital letters??? second of all, this is the technical information library section, what are you doing posting in here?. Third, your question has been discussed lot's of times, do a search man! let me answer your questions.

is the stock ecu going to work? NO. you need something else

What kind of problems?, hehe, from what I can tell lot's of problems..

if you want a gtir turbo, you are thinking on a t28 setup? how's that? do you know what's in a gti-r setup?

Bealive what I'm saying, do a search on post on the right section..

I been noticing my fuel economy is horrible. i have to fill up about every 3 days ( i drive about 80 miles round trip to work ) i have the Apexi SAFC hooked up .
Is there anyway to manually dial in the A/F ratio ? I noticed at about 80 MPH in 5th gear my A/F gauge is buried into he rich , and im assuming its running fat pig rich ... just wondering if i can dial in the A/F ratio to run a little closer to stoich rather than burying the rich.

If i can't or is not possible no big deal because the cool thing is even when i drive it hard the fuel economy is the same as if im babying it , so gives me a lil more incentive to get on the accelerater. I was just curious ...

You need to actually know what your A/F is before you do any tuning, get a wideband o2 sensor.

I have a custom side mount intercooler from a eclipse mounted into my engine bay where my battery tray used to be. And Zex intercooler spray. A custom fabricated manifold, HKS ssqv, s-afc1 all thanks to the help at AJ customs of Sevierville TN.

I just want to have a good set up that will last a while for a decent price. I only want around the 205-210 hp range.
Hi, I live in murfreesboro, TN. Where exactly is AJ customs? I'm turboing my B13 and I need a manifold.

why do you need a DET so much? just boost a DE and save yourself the trouble.

We are custom fabricating a manifold out of the old pacesetter header I had on it.
He's only charging 300 to put it on.

T25 Turbo $185.00

Oil and liquid lines salvaged from some scrap nitrous lines.

Turbo rebuild $50

Super Afc $200.00

Rebuild kit. $115.00

All piping should only give or take around 50 bucks

Mitsubishi Intercooler $75.00

Cutom fabricated downpipe included in the 300 install fee.

HKS Super Sequential Blow Off Valve $235.00 Flange for BOV $40.00

Turbo Flange $20.00

Thats only 1270 and thats most everything you get in basic turbo kits.
I told them I had 1100 to work with give or take a few hundred. So they gave me a list of things to buy on ebay/through them. And we should have it on for this price if not a lil over 1270.
I intern there so I'm getting a lot of deals and a lot of free labor exchanged as on hands on experienced for me to learn how to do it.
Its a great deal. And their experience is reliable considering the owner's car is a turbo acura built fromt he ground up that he did. And the other partner has turbocharged many things in the past that are very reliable.
I was just simply asking a question on fuel mangment and if what I have in order is good. If I put the s-afc on will I still need to swap injectors or will I be ok? I was told to ask around just in case, but they think it will be ok. I just want a second opinion cause it is my car on the line here.
^^^ This person does not know what they are talking about

The DE motors will hold up to a lot more than people seem to think. Anyone with experience with these motors will tell you that a DE can handle more power than your car can.

A new ECU is essential, I suggest a Calumsult real-time ECU, they are available on this forum. Drill and tap in the block. Both oil pans must be removed. There is a spot where the DET oil drain is located, its best to drill there.

A lot of people swear by the OEM Nissan wires. The NGK BKR7E spark plugs are fine for a DET motor. I use both of these.
