I'm a bit conused here. Which compressor housing do you use. The writeup says you have the T25 Compressor housing milled to fit the T28 Inducer. I presume you then replace the T25 Inducer with the T28 Inducer. However, everyones comments suggest one would use the T28 Compressor Housing.

Will you clarify?

Yes you use the T25 compressor housing. Here ill give you a synopse

Items needed,

Full T28
Compressor Housing off a T25
Wastegate actuator from a T25

Take the T28, remove compressor housing. Take The T25 and remove its compressor housing. Have a machine shop machine the T25 comprssor housing so it fits over the T28's compressor wheel. Then bolt on the T25's machined compressor housing on the T28, along with the watesgate actuator and you avenir or bluebird j-pipe (one hole may need to be enlarged for fitment).

So basically your using a complete T28, just with a smaller compressor housing, so it clears the block with the bb/ avenir manifolds, and without spending alot on manifold, downpipe and j-pipe, like you would have to using the T28 straight out of the box.

OK, let me rephrase.. HELD 17.5lbs for several runs before developing a boost leak around the water injection nozzles.

Of course at 17lbs, it only take a few brief seconds to get up to speed anyway!

Wouldn't it be cheaper and easier to just make adapter plates to bolt the T28 up to the T25 manifold and DP? I'm assuming not but I had to ask. If not what's the reason for that?

I've thought about this. Just some sort of angle adapter on the manfiold to kick the turbo an inch away from the block to make sure the turbo doesn't hit the block. Wonder if anyone has tried this.

I would say(im not responsible for any damage that may occur) that for brief runs, like the 1/4mile. 18 psi is as high as I would go. (Again, I hold no responsibility for any damage.)

I was planning on running mine at 18psi at the track with 50# injectors or GTiR's at 4Bar..

I have just installed my T28/25 and yes it pulls hard all the way thru 6 - 7K (not like my old t25) but it doesn't really start pulling until just before 4k. My old t25 would start kicking about 3k and I got real used to that. Is there anyway to make my new one boost sooner? I've got a mbc and it's set to 11 psi if that makes any difference.

If you had an EBC, such as an Apex'I AVC-R you could tune the wastegate duty cycle to be hyperactive at lower RPMs and "encourage" it to spool faster. With a manual BC, there may not be a suitable alternative.

You're in Arab? My girlfriend goes to Snead State, and I'm down there all the time for her softball games. Maybe we should get together? There's about 5 of us holding down Madison County. Hit me up!

**EDIT - I think Pat should mill these and sell 'em - I'd be down for AT LEAST one **
