problems with 300zx dett MAF

Hey guy I don't know if you all could help me out here. I recently installed a 300zx dett MAF onto my sr20det and not for hell she wants to Idle. She's turning over but not Idling. I checked back the wiring and all that and everything is correct. Any suggestions?

You cannot run the 300ZX MAF on a stock ECU. You need to reprogram the stock ECU or run SAFC, or some other programmable management.

I presently have an apex-i 2 Air/Fuel controller on the car is that what you are talking about?
You know I think you are correct. I didn't have that hooked up when I we tested the motor
I never tried to hook the MAF back up with the controller plugged in.
