I was told by a respectable and known tech and fabricator that our T25 wastegates can't hold more than 10-11bls of boost since the hole is not big enough. I was wondering if any of you guys can prove this wrong. I currently have the T25 setup with the Greddy Profec B boost controller and it seems that my setup is having trouble holding 12lbs and on top of that there are about 2 or 3 more guys in the area in the same situation. All comments are welcome.

sometimes i hit 14-15psi in 4th or 5th gear...
i have a bb sr20det w/ z32, 72lbs inj., jgy fuel rail, jwt ecu,man boost controller, on stock wastegate.
BUT, my car is currently idling like crap(vacuum at 10-12 during idle) and i have some boost leak problems.
read the sig.. 11psi all day everyday! holds strong in all gears

Old car: 1999 Sentra SE-L Turbo: USDM sr20de, t25 turbo, hot shot intercooler kit, BIG ass fmic, nismo fpr, autometer fp gauge/boost gauge, mbc set at stock boost for now! 7psi= more traction>11psi=less traction.

Uh... yeah... if the hole were too small, it'd build MORE boost! Think about it. The hole is used to bypass air around the turbine wheel and not through it. The bigger the hole, the more is bypassed, the less goes through the turbine wheel, the less boost.
My boost pressure drops down to about 9-10 psi by redline because I'm trying to push 260whp through the poor little sucker

We ran 13 lbs on our T25 , with no boost controler , did the old turnbuckle setup , some reason that was the only way we could get stable boost with the exhaust off ....with a boost controler , the boost would just go crazy , way high, either 7lbs or 20 .... once we did the turnbuckle and removed the boost controler, we could get a stable 13 lbs ... but really couldnt get much more than that ...
