Cometic vs. GTIR headgasket

When comparing the cometic gasket to the normal GTIR some water holes are smaller and the pattern is not comletely the same.
Im sure its not a big deal but is there a reason for this?
Would be nice if some HG expert could confirm that these differences are OK.........

yes the top one is standard...

The cometic gasket has smaller water holes but there is more of them... does that make up for the smaller size?
