Don't worry about the shavings too much Swissy Swiss... that's what the magnetic plug is for. Every time I have taken my trans off, or drained it I've found a little bit.

Just in case, I'm going to check it again in a few hundred miles. If all look good, I'll put in the Shockproof.

Thanks fellas. Remember though, it's just a simple T25 setup, nothing too extraordinary if you think about it. I want take my time and really do things right. I've put a lot of hard work into it, so I'm glad you like it.

Yeah, I've seen some on the plug before too, but it freaked me out because it was a lot more than usual and I had only driven 500 miles. I'm pretty sure it was from the grinding though. Man, I had no idea WTF was going on at first. I thought I put the clutch on wrong or there was something wrong with the new transmission, then I remembered seeing this:

Joe saved the day and he didn't even know it. I loosened the cable and instantly it turned to butter. I loooove the JWT clutch. It's got a perfect pedal feel (about the same as the old ACT HDSS, but it holds a lot more power) with a really short "throw." The short throw took a few miles to get used to, but once you get a feel for it, it's great.

The new setup is running great. Only 5psi right now though, i'm working on that. I've put about 200 miles on it, and it's been doing great.

That's what I like about it. So simple for probabaly a good high 13 sec car, and you did it all right and took your time.

What is your basis for that time?

With me driving, not a snowballz chance in hell.

I took the old setup (RR w/ S3Rs) to the 1/8 mile track a few times for fun. I trapped a best of 82.28mph, but with a 2.39 60ft my ET was pretty embarrassing. I have no idea what that would mean as far as 1/4 mile times or trap speeds.

Of course now, I'm down some power with 9.5:1 compression and stock cams. Once I upgrade MAF/fuel/ecu, I've got some S4s waiting, but being far more aggressive than the S3Rs, I wouldn't feel comfortable running them with 370s and stock MAF. I really shouldn't have been running the S3Rs on that setup, but I secretly had a death wish for that motor anyway.
