Thanks Mike.

I need to update the thread. The car is actually down at the moment. I'm still not really 100% sure what happened, but it appears to be a headgasket issue. One things for sure... engine swap coming soon.

That sucks. I noticed it had a roller rocker in it. Are you sure you didn't toast the ring lands?

Edit: I still think this should be made a sticky

Yeah, but not right away. Engine first, bigger turbo later.

It's hard to say exactly what it is, but with oil and water mixing there has to be a breach somewhere. It stumbles, but still runs well enough to move it in and out of the driveway which is nice.

For the asking price, I can't imagine any reason why I wouldn't. I'm going to check it out when he gets back. Barring some unforeseen catastrophe... that bitch is sold.

Sure.

I'm not sure. It was rebuilt and "Frankensteined" with the compressor housing from a Z before I bought it (I have no idea why). It's clocked upward and uses the Z outlet which is basically a 90* bend out of the compressor (pointing toward the passenger side). From there it's all custom pipes.

You can see how the piping was designed to fit around the fan. There's plenty of room now, but when the fans and AC were still there it was a mess.

Here's where the piping goes through the radiator support on the engine bay side:

... and here's a shot from the front (taken between the grill and radiator support):

I also found an old picture that shows where the support is cut. Now that I think more about it, going through the support where I did would only work with a small intercooler like this one.
