I'm sorry I didn't copy everyone else's setup. If you need a preacher to tell you what mods to put on your car, the Reverend Veilside180sx might have a suggestion.

Nice job thinking out of the box in the SE-R community..need more people like you..
First time ive seen a fully built.. fully repainted.. nicely done.. nothing overlooked car on this forum.. or even in this community..
Not argueing this point at all. Bigtoe is an amazingly knowledgeable guy. He and Mike K start talking and the damn conversation goes right over my noggin.
However just off the top of my head, Urbanracerone, Mike K, and CoalitionSE-L, have done painstaking work on brilliantly executed vehicles. I think you are downplaying the level of vehicles and modifications on this forum.
Bigtoe, that is one freakishly amazing looking build. Out-fu*king-rageous!

If someone would simply create bracketry to hold the oil pump to the block, you can put a flat section of aluminum on the upper oil pan, get rid of the lower oil pan and weld in the bosses for oil fittings. That is actually exactly what Bigtoe did on his car. This has been talked about many times and there are only two people I think that have Dry Sump setups on our cars. It would be great if those two people, like BigToe, would actually go through their setups with us. Only issues I want to know about are inside the pan. Was there any extra baffleing added on that aluminum plate and did you put a windage tray/crank scraper on?

i beleive you on that.. but beleive me.. i have freinds on this forum that will back me up.. why do you think that there is no aftermarket for thse cars? and why do you think like JGY customs is the only company out there making parts for these cars specifically..
why do you think everyone on here is resorting to buying ssautochrome headers off ebay when everyone else in the auto industry knows that they are sh*t products..
its because no one in the FWD nissan community likes to spend money.. or look outside the box and make theyre own parts..
this is why you see everyone with the same exact setups.. time after time.. because they know they work(mainly because they are factory parts).. and theyre afraid to try something different.. and this is why you see people settling for companies that make sub par products..
all i was saying is if everyone thought like those people you mentioned.. and wanted to build a nice car.. and there was a drive to do it then the whole community for these cars would grow.. and everyone knows how capable these cars are its just the matter of getting them known..
anyways.. this is the OP's thread.. so im not going to keep going with this...
if someone wants to talk then pm me..

thats funny....you should've been around several years ago...
You think theres no aftermarket now?
At least now you can go on ebay or almost any import parts site and type SE-R or SR20 and sh*t will show up. Back in the day youd be lucky to get a universal shift knob LOL
There are quite a few well built cars out there by forum members, built from the gorund up. I think the problem is most people dont get around to posting them cause they dont want to deal with all the newbs and tools on this forum asking dumbass questions, that are gonna forget about the 400+whp its making and ask where they can get that body kit at or want to know if theyre gonna be the baddest m0f0 on *** I'm ricetastic y0! or why dont they add some nos to their turbo kit...
Its changed alot, but there are alot of bad ass sr20 powered vehicles still out there...most just stay to their own. Bigtoe only posts his stuff *** he lives in the West Indies and needs as much contact with civilization as possible (j/k man)
All said and done, this is one of the nicer balanced projects Ive seen which is both functional and good looking.

OK, looks like this is heading inthe wrong direction.
I say this with no bias and complete honesty.
This Forum and it's members come from a wide ranging group, from A-hole to Rocket Scientist.
In terms of what Nissan's aftermarket support is relative to Honda, what you see on here is ground-up, old-school, hands-on tinkering. Not buy it in a box and go out and play Honda.
The mega $$ Hondas that have been developed have been done so with sponsorship and corporate R&D. The effort for 1/4 the power on these SR motors, in my mind, is worth more that every cent spent developing a Honda. It's old school, romantic, hands on JOY and no one gives a F*** about what they line up next to.
There are MANY cars on here that would be equal in effort, look, cost, power, out of the box thinking as my own.
I think there are guys on here (you know who you are) that are worth more than many others in more developed manufacturer markets.
Read my Signature.

Oh...one last thing...............Absolutely NO ONE touches my stuff...........I do it ALL myself.
Yes back in the old days when I started there was only JWT for cams, and HS for headers. Suspension was limited to Tokio Blues, or GABs and Progress or Eibach springs. ST were the only sways. I remember when JGY was not a company, but a crazy dude running around in a white turbo classic w/ blue stripes terrorizing Alexandria, then there was the p10 with 19's and hydraulics . There is a plethora of stuff available now. Too bad alot of it is crap. .
I love the setup. I just wish I could do stuff like that. Best I have ever done is commission front and rear brake kits to be made by Fast Brakes for the B15. Keep up the great work.
