**This is the DET ECU that i want to install.

Do you think that use Bluebird MAF with a Avennir ECU is my problem?.

Yesterday i received an Z32 MAF from E-Bay. Do you think that if i change the DET Bluebir MAF for a Z32 MAF to use with the Avennir ECU, and i set up the E-Manage Blue to use with Z32 MAF, it will resolve the problem.

Sounds a kind of obvious, but i don`t have experience with this problem in my car, and actually and don`t want to cut the MAF Harness to make the swap, without success answering my interrogation.

The 54C00 MAF is also identical to the GTiR MAF(same part number)

The W10 MAF is 54C01 and the ONLY difference is that the wiring plug is different, W10 plug is same as the B14/N15 style MAF plug.

Set your distributor top bolt to the middle of the slot, cause my guess is your timing is out and I am betting you advanced the base timing a little to get the DE ECU to run with the DET motor.

I always prefer to solve every problem before creating a new one but if you think the Z32 will 'fix' the problem then by all means try it

Also, you may have to consider that the W10 ECU you have could also be damaged.

That´s right. Past days i wanted to connect an Avenir MAF but i didn`t because the plug was B14 Style, not B13. I didn`t know that are exactly the same MAF internally. That`s new for me, thank`s.

I set my distributor to 15ş a few days ago, but i will doble check it, is not a bad idea.

The N62 MAF was an upgrade that i allways want to do even before than a ECU Swap. So, with or without de DET ECU, yesterday i installed.

I hope reduced the problems, but i`m not sure if it wiil be.

I will connect the Avenir ECU this weekend with de Z32 MAF. I will post the results of this Combination. I will pray

Z32 MAF Installed. Unfortunately my car can`t start. I connect the Avenir W10 with the Z32 MAF. I think that, there´s a electric problem, cause a have 1 code in the ECU (Ignition Signal).

Avenir ECU + Z32 MAF + E-MANAGE BLUE **ADVICE**

For all people that want to set the Z32 MAF with the E-Manage Blue, you have to set the Piggyback (by Software) with the NS-HW2 Maf type (Known: 300zx), and you have to Set your Internal E-Manage Rotary Switch (by Hardware) with this combination: 2-0-6 (Unkown).

The E-Manage Manual don´t have the Avenir Engine rotary switch combination, but i read the Apexi S-AFC2 Manual, and with so much info available of engines, i found the Avenir Engine and use exactly the same setting of MAF that use the Nissan Silvia S14. This last one is in E-Manage Manual, so, i made an analogy and set the same rotary switch combination (2: "1 Coil Distributor", 06 "Avenir Main Unit ECU"). Voila... the Analog Output of the E-Manage Blue, marks 0.6 V (the same one that an Avenir MAF), this means, that the setting that i choose, was correct

Sorry, not an Avenir..a blue bird. Unless VC was painted red.

Check turbo part #, it's the only way to tell for sure.

When you mention that the W11 uses a lowport oil filter, is that just referring to the threading on the mount and the filter number itself, or is the oil filter located in a different spot on the engine than the W10?

I have owned both W10 and W11 and both use Highport Oil Filter.
