Alright so I called about the availability of VE engines. The first guy I talked to had never heard of the motor before, so he tranferred me over to another gentleman who, swore it was the same thing as the JDM DE. Then finally I talked to a third guy who knew what I was talking about and said they did not carry them and did not intend to in the near future.

So in short, no VE's from Tiger Japanese

My friends came with the auto flywheel. I really think I would rather pay the extra money for a motor that was pulled a little more carefully. My friends engine looked like they just connect a hook to his fuel rail and ripped it out of the car without un hooking or unclipping anything.

i just recently ordered a 1jz from them..the motor was so clean inside and when i went to replace the bearing after 4hrs of work i realized that this motor did not have more than 30k on her..in fact the new oem toyota bearings were in the same contrast to the jdm's..talk about a nice deal.as far as the fuel rail most people are going from de to det so swapping in rails is a small price to pay for a det for under 900

I'll make a post sometime soon but my Buebird from them was a miserable motor. There were large chunks of metal in the turbo, evrything was rusted / coated with dirt, the IC was smashed, IC piping was missing (that I payed for) the lower intake had an 1/8" of sludge in it. F**K Tiger Japanese! I am on a crusade to stop everyone I can from buying from them. Oh yeah and the communication with the manager is one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had.

i bought the 720 and it runs good but they cut alot of the wires and the fuel regulator was all bent the altinator was shot. the motor was clean but if it wasnt for the extra engine with spare parts i would be fu*ked but other then that its a great price and good condition.
