Hey, I want a book too and look at that you are a lucky SOB cause Shawn is still being nice. As to what is faster...searching or posting. I can show you with your own thread. If I search I get instant answers as in like 10 seconds or less. You posted and this is what you got.

Your post time: 10-20-2007, 01:17 PM

Chriscar responded: 10-20-2007, 01:39 PM = 22 minute delay = 21 minutes and 50 seconds slower than a search. Then you got.

Shawn B responded: 10-20-2007, 02:36 PM = additional 57 minute delay so now you are 78 minutes 50 seconds slower than a search. Then you got

UsaPride responded: 10-20-2007, 02:37 PM = 1 more minute. You do the rest of the math and find the damn search button. We all had to.

But I still want one of those books. I don't have a lot of posts and it still says newbie but that's ok. I KNOW HOW TO USE THE SEARCH BUTTON!

One could interpret your post a different way...... we need to answer questions more quickly.

That's right! We should have responded IMMEDIATELY! Within SECONDS of the post, Moderators and senior members alike should have FLOCKED to THIS VERY THREAD, and posted our guts out!

I guess it could be interpreted that way but I don't remember it saying anywhere that the moderators were going to be the automatic response for the search button. I also don't remember it saying anywhere that we would all monitor posts 24/7/365 + 1 on leap year so that we could search for people instead of them searching for themselves. I mean I think anyone with common sense posting on here would automatically conclude that a forum is not intended for people to get an immediate answer to questions that they could very easily search for.

I do understand what you are saying but I think you guys are pretty damn fast at getting back to people. Again, not as fast as the search button but it only has one role to play on the forum where as we have many roles to play. I work and raise my kids. Shawn scares people. It's a little hard to do all at the same time.

I guess if they want a dedicated person to respond at a seconds notice then maybe they should set up a paypal account and provide a daily/hourly fee for someone to sit and watch the forums waiting for them to post another "I'm too stupid to search for myself question."
That's just my thoughts though. Maybe I am wrong in my thinking but when I post a question I figure someone will get to me when they have the chance to.

Anyway.

Now that is quite brilliant work.

I am stunned that I did not think of it first. Dammit.

That's right ya' damn slacker. You need to get on the ball.

Further, I must be doing reasonably well on my responses, you have not had to swat me with a newspaper yet.

I know those guys were joking.

Some folks are civilized humans who operate in a relatively normal fashion.

Then there is me. Guilty as charged.

I've been doing that task for a few years now, with no pay whatsoever.

I am thinking that any form of kindness or relative politeness that Shawn was showing has now passed and that we have passed the point to where infractions are minor. I don't know about anyone else but I think the personal derogatory remark was rather un-needed. If you can't take advice...which by the way is what you asked for then don't post. What is the most pathetic is that all of this could have been avoided had you just been smart enough to SEARCH for your damn self.

You remind me of the guys that stand on the side of the freeway and beg for change. They are extremely annoying and even when you provide them with information allowing them to assist themselves in their search for self sufficiency they still bitch cause they are too damn lazy and ignorant to be self supportive and are unwilling to gain knowledge. They (LIKE YOU) want all the benefits without having to do any of the work. Either figure out a way to resolve the issue and get the information on your own or take the advice given and be thankful that someone took the time to even be bothered with your already answered 500 times over again question.

Have a nice day
and in the words of someone else that I am sure is tired of you.

Here's another one of your redundant, unreSEARCHed threads:

http://www.sr20forum.com/sr20de-tech...ml#post1896151

You've posted two threads, both of them superfluous. In both of them you are told nicely to SEARCH. Congratulations, you're batting a thousand.

Further, here is a quote from your last thread:

Now I am waaaaay the fu*k over being nice. I never liked being nice in the first fu*king place.

Yes, you are now getting perfectly done. Kinda crispy on the outside, and medium rare on the inside. Roasted Newb on an open fire. If the apple in your mouth is causing discomfort, too damn bad.

I never complained about you posting. If you think so, you are stupider than dirt. I've got a ceiling fan with more brains.

As for being a whiney bitch? I am neither whiney nor anyones bitch. You can type it easily enough behind the anonymity and protection of a computer screen. In real life, you would be far less mouthy, of that I can assure you. I would now escalate this situation son. That is what I do every single week with stupid mouthy bastards who don't know when to shut their fu*king pie hole. I'd up the ante, waaaay beyond where you are willing to go, can in fact go, or have ever been. I'd force you into a scenario where you have to actually back up that silly mouth of yours, and it would make me incredibly happy to do so.

Keep that in mind Cupcake as you shoot off your ignorant mouth.

What is sad is your lack of any sort of self-awareness or personal insight. Your apparent inability to follow the rules of the Forum. Your disrespect, avoidance of constructive criticism, and lack of comprehension when someone is trying to help you. Plus, you have no sense of humor whatsoever. That is really sad. While I can empathize (unfortunately enough I really can), I don't really give a fu*k nor have any mercy for your sorry ass at this moment.

Follow the fu*king Forum Rules Twinkletoes. Learn how to SEARCH and quit being a lazy, worthless, woe-is-me, crybaby motherfu*ker. Don't expect folks to spoon-feed you your information like a brain-damaged toddler, simply because you cannot be bothered to do any work for yourself. Get with the gawd-damned program Sweetcheeks, or go find another forum to inhabit because I will make your life a living hell on this site. Just for fun.

Nice to meet you and once again, welcome to the forum.

Oh no, I'm coming out of the woodwork here to say this one small thing...

Let me give you my two wasted cents about infractions...

This personal attack on ShawnB will NOT earn this newbie an infraction because well... the poster is NOT a friend of any of the mods/admins...

Goes to show the inner workings of this wonderful place...

Cheers-
Erich
