The strongest tranny ever mated to the SR20 (FWD) is the 2000+ B15/P11 trannies.
this kinda off the topic, but isn't the 20V FWD and don't it have a 6 speed manual?

true, in the US sr's never came with a 6 speed.

edit: i forgot to ask, why no piston squirters?

As for Sfwd it states that the trans that is being has to be OEM for the engine that is being used thats why I aked if any cars came with the SR and a 6spd So if any and I mean any car came with a SR and a 6spd it falls in the rules. I am sure the rules will change a bit to allow Ballard and if it does thn I am OK.

im tired and on cold medicine, but did the sr20ve 20v motor not come with the same 6spd gearbox that the QR comes with? isnt that why the 20v bellhousings are so sought-after? because they bolt up to the QR box?

I think it did.

Ive always wondered if the late model maxima auto could be tricked up, and modded to fit a sr20. They are designed to handle a fair bit of torque in a pretty big heavy car, so if it can get the line pressures bumped and some aftermarket clutch's, i rekon there is a possibility there.

Mates of mine have a 10 sec pulsar, they were going to bolt a p10 auto trans in it to see if it could even get off the line, just to see what broke. I kinda figured i might roll over the 60ft line before turning molten. They last had 365 fwkw. The car has been parked for the last 2 years ***, waiting on a sponsor.
