Hey guys I'm in the club my tranny was the fourth gear at track but it ran 10 sec. 1/4 mile so it is strong enough for the 10 sec. for that reason I brought the new fourth gears and I will try again. If any of you guys found any stronger than that please let me know. Thanks
you have to clarify, 2bar on a disco and 2 bar on a T4 are very different. What turbo and what setup did you have and was it 28PSI?

pt6776rnow.I guess 500whp...aprox stock motor.. no cams etc.29lbs
it last about 3 years.. 30.000 miles aprox stock boost 10.5 lbs
about 320 whp daily.. but that wast not the prob.. this trannys cant hold more than 400lbs that its..for very long.
cheers
Guys I think alot of these tranny problems are driving habits. If you slam 3rd gear you are gonna break stuff. You have to drive the car and shift with respect. I had a b13 stock lsd tranny last in a 450whp car for 25,000 miles it is still in the car and going strong. The car saw the drag strip and everything.
I think some people dont understand when a Sentra makes 400+whp you dont have to beat on the car to win races.

I beat the living crap out of my trans over the summer. Only issue was 5th gear pop out but besides that it has seen several passes down the track. Street tires and DR's. It was a basic T25 but I had supporting mods and highhhh boost and she took it like a champ. I think if the trans has some nice redline or royal purple gear oil, there should be no issues.
However though, sorry to see your transmission took a crap on you. Your car is badass.

No way. I really throw some abuse at transmission too when we go to these "spots" and have a little competition. Rolling backwards and dumping the clutch. Then some not so forgivable shifts barely using the clutch.
You are obviously using a 3 puck sprung disc with what Pressure plate?
All I see in the pics are a snapped Pressure plate, what is wrong with the gears? Did they shear off or break into a million pieces/etc.???
I totally understand the 500hp thing with a stock transmission, it does have a lot to do with driving habits but its really all dependent on the original condition of the transmission as well. My question is how do you break a Pressure plate in 3 places? What company manufactured the Pressure plate? Did you look at the internals of the transmission yet?
I would like to see what your outcome was, this is very interesting to me and I think the forum. As Daxx said, this is going to open up a can of worms... I just got a P11 transmission and Im gonna see what it can handle...
i have my ser with over 450whp with the stock ser transmission. a few weeks ago, fifth gear went. that was the only issue i had with the stock 93 transmission. taking care of the care and it components have alot to do with your driving habit. i have run 25psi on the road without third gear breaking or anything of the sort. p11 is a great improvement inthe durability of the ser transmission, but if not handle with care, it will break. with 400+whp, there is no need to power shift the car at all. we are not taliking about a honda that has no torque.
bottom line, if you abuse it, it will break.........
