I did know that and thats why am definitely leaning towards the second one (avenir). The prices are VERY reasonable too, $841.00 shipped to my door for a avenir is a steal. You really can't do much better then that.

Do you think the red one is a u13, because of the downward aiming turbo? And I am just assuming the second one is a w10, because of the price.

Also I already have a turbo, injectors, manifold, and j-pipe, so I can just sell those and make 400 bucks and only end up spending 400!

I'm just talking myself into this, so don't mind me

I've been finding a lot of really bad reviews about those guys. Google their name and watch all the horrendous stories pop up about them. I was considering buying a W10 from them also until I seen all of that.

Yeah, I know what your talking about, but there has been alot of people on here that have said they are good. It seems to be hit or miss. I just hope its a hit!

*UPDATE* Just found a gtir motor locally that is missing the quad throttle body intake manifold, which I wouldn't use anyway right? I posted a thread in the turbo section asking the question whether or not I could just use my intake manifold from my highport jdm de, so I won't ask again in this thread.

The price is 550 w/ turbo on it! Is this a good deal or what? And the best part is its local, so I can just pick it up(no shipping cost) and if something is wrong he's local, so it should be easy to resolve.

I am going to check it out tomorrow after work. I'll take some pics, so I can post them up for you guys to see and let me know if i should get it or not. Please post up things I should look for when checking it out.

btw I already bought one motor from him and it was flawless, so I am hoping for the same thing on this one.
