After getting my new fuel pump and relay installed I now have a new problem!
My boost does not go any higher than 10psi with the vacuum line removed from the boost controller.(Open boost) GTI-R swap. I had it set to 12 before and got a max of 16psi.(spike) but now it does not go any higher than 10 and it does not feel like a strong 10. builds up slow. check the actuator to see if the diaphragm is bad but everything is good.
Boost leaks? I'd start by pressure testing the system. My wastegate line shot off and the car spiked to 25-30psi. Is the car detonating or anything when it reaches 10psi or just creeps to 10 and just sits?

I haven't pressure tested the system but it ran fine before the fueling issue.
it does not creep to 10 but goes up as normal and stays there at 10
pressure test the system first. If you do not have any leaks run the car with no line on the waste gate. Be careful not to over boost or you will detonate. If the boost presssure does not rise with the line off you may have a crack in the exhaust housing around the waste gate port. this is a very common problem.
Could not get the car tested, cant find someone with the equipment. But I did remove the VAC line from the actuator and it when straight up to 15 and then I stopped revving. I put back the stock tee piece that leeds to the stock boost controller(but not connected) and it could not get past 10 again, so I removed the tee piece and ran the lines straight to the turbo smart boost controller and it operates fine. and now the vac is reading a lot more stable at 16-18. Cant wait to take her out for a test drive. (not with 15psi though).
so hopefully that takes the cracked manifold out.
What do I need to pressure test the vacuum?
