Cody got the IC modified and it fits in there now, it is the spearco 10x4.5x4.5 core with 2.5" in/outs built by extreme cooling. THe greddy BOV is mounted on the end tank to hopefully blow off less of the cooled air and more of the hot air out of the compressor. Should work well like that.
Here are a couple pics:

Thanks man, we aren't quite done yet. I have to re-route the old hoses and clean it all up now. We just got it in and snapped some prelim pictures. I am just glad the IC fit in there. Much easier that trying to use the PWR barrel style like we initially talked about.

nice. what size exchanger you running up front on that bad boy?
PS-i just noticed that your dump tube is right next to your radiator hose. i would also put a heat shield on that. i nearly ruptured mine from the proximity of my downpipe (2-3" away). once i put exhaust wrap on it, it was fine. with the exhaust wrap, i can hold my downpipe directly after a hard run, and its hot, but not so it it burns you right away. cut down on underhood heat A LOT.

Thanks for the pointers man! The dump tube will be coated along with the DP and the manifold in HPC extreme coating and I have a stainless heatshield being made for the WG itself. I also have my silicone radiator hoses that will hold up to heat much better and have some heat wrap from my old headers to put over them.

can you explain a bit how that type of IC works? i've never seen taht kinda of set up in person
Basically you use circulating water that flows through the IC core to cool down the charge air from the turbo. You use a storage tank to hold extra water in which you can dump ice and super cool your intake charge. WOrks well for the strip and stuff. A strong flowing pump and large storage tank results in street driving like a air-air would get you.

ok, so its like an air to water, minus the water than right? kinda sorta? *** i dont see any other pipes going into it , looks like turbo outlet goes straight into that...

Beautiful. All that metal in there makes the plastic radiator overflow tank seem out of place.
Actually I have a greddy aluminum overflow to go in, just haven't done it yet along with the greddy catch can. Just have to find room for all this stuff, lol!

is your oil feed line touching the exhaust at all?
have fun taking it apart to get it coated, i know thats a major PITA with these FMAX style equal lengths.
What is funny is that the whole manifold and turbo comes out in one piece and slips right over the studs no problem ones the Vband is released from the DP. My oil line is going across the DP right now but only cause it is a temp line we stuck in to get the car running. I have a new line that came with the oil dist. block to install.

nvm, i get it now..
Witt, there is a brass fitting on the end of the IC, that is the inlet for water, there is also one on the other end for the outlet. Then it flows to a storage tank then to the cooler up front via a nice large Jabsco pump.

What are you using for a heat exchanger? Where are you putting the resivoir?
Air/water works great. I cut .3 seconds off my 1/4 mile with a fresh bag of ice.
Cooler will be a custom radiator I hope from a shop in cali. Problem is they want big bucks for that. Trans cooler is doing the job in the mean time. A setrab cooler would be nice to but those are a good $180-$300 AS WELL.
