Re: Post your dyno sheets *turbo*

I'm not sure, it could be the dyno, Timing ( base timing I is 13* ) the emanage, or the temperature difference. My timing was never dialed in. A few more hours on the dyno and I'm sure we would of had it perfect ( if that could ever happen )

Re: Post your dyno sheets *turbo*

Timming is 9 deg retarded. is at 11 not 20. its 13.5 psi ish. Just a quick tune. needs some work though. I love how the power just keeps coming on till 8,000. peak is at 7500-7600rpm. Oh, this is a stock GTIR motor, with a custom header and TO4S. .82 housing.

Oh, and if the pic doesn't work for you click here

Re: Post your dyno sheets *turbo*

I was just looking at some other dyno sheets and was wondering if anyone else here has any GTIR dyno sheets. I'm looking at getting some cams but by looking at my sheets compared to others it looks almost like I've got some cams already. I'm not sure though and I don't have anything to compare too.

Anyone?

Re: Post your dyno sheets *turbo*

Here's mine. Mods are listed in the sig. Yes those are the only mods too. Absolutely nothing else. This was before a little more tuning. My little AF spike has been smoothed since.

I was running really lean down low. I did fix the problem so it is roughly 12:1 all the way up. It is hard to see the green A/F line on my sheet.

If you read his post it says the A/F is not correct.

its also a 3rd gear pull. i assume its third as he hits 66mph at 5252RPM. 3rd gear pulls are never accurate. you need a to choose the gear that is closest to 1.00 ratio. which is usually 4th gear on 5 speed 4 cyl cars.

Ya know... that torque curve doesn't really match the HP curve... soemthing's a little fishy about that.....

yeah its was a 4th gear pull number one, we had to let off because the tires started to break and skip on the dyno, thats why the tourqe numbers seem low couldnt get an accurate read. ask zexynx he is a witness

Just curious (note: not bashing validity) if you let off shouldnt there be a dip in the graph somewhere...why is it so linear?
