That is a huge gap on the plugs, have you checked them for any funny signs of detonation or anything?

I have not noticed anything particular at all. Should I gap them down to .030 or lower?

Most gap between .28 and .32 on turbos based on the plug and the A/F readings. I say check for detonation on the plugs, if there is evidence then gap them a bit smaller. If it doesn't clear up it could be cause you are just going lean. If you are having NO issues, then leave it the way you got it!!! I am just impressed that 370's at 3bar are holding 248whp with a stock maf and all that, no cams!! Wow!

Yeah Brent, thanks so much for your reply! I've checked the plugs last week and they looked pretty good. I will check again just to make sure here next week, but I think there isn't any problem there at all. I'm pretty impressed overall. I don't think I even want a set of S3R cams now.

That is about right for 11psi on a T28, with all that fuel and the big maf you should be able to crank up that boost pretty safely. Why not a 14psi pull?

You should be dynoing in 4th gear.

A large plug gap isn't going to cause detonation, just a misfire. For the most power possible you want the largest plug gap you can get away with without a misfire. I'm running .035 on 1bar, no misfires.

I would have, but my 4th piston was only reading 90psi and I wanted to be able to drive it back to the garage at my house. I think it was the rings because when i did a wet test it went up to 150psi I thought better safe than sorry. I have decided to just put in a DET insted of building it like my man GP. It will be easier this way and I'm selling my NX so i'll have the money. Also I like the thought of lower compression ratio, oil squirters, and a bit stronger of a head, with less work involved. I will eventually build my old motor though. I did a 3rd gear pull because this was my first dynoing experience and I didn't know that 4th gear pulls are more accurate, and the guy at the shop told me to do 3rd so i did. Next time it will be in 4th. Thanks for all of the input, keep em comin. BTW how does my A/F ratio look?? Isn't it supposed to stay closer to 12, but then again, towards the end it gets a lil rich. Gotta love 50lbers w/ 4bar!!!

Yeah, that's an understatement. I have no traction in 1st or 2nd. Now I'm shopping for new tires.

Hehe thats awesome, same here except that sometimes its hard to keep em from spinning in 4th at 90mph since i have no LSD for now. I have to dyno her soon. I bet i can hit 350whp
