u12 bluebird, t25, 266hp, 308tq= no broken tranny.
u12 bluebird, t3/t4, 12lbs, 314 hp, 312tq= no broken tranny.
u12 bluebird, pistons, cams, 15lbs, 356hp, 349tq= no broken tranny.
all this has been done over a three year period, all setups using the same tranny, and same clutch set up. the tranny is still going strong, and is now mated onto my ve turbo project. this is on a stock sr20 b13 tranny. and believe me, this car doesnt cruise, either its kicking someones butt, or its sleeping in the garage.

T25, 11-12psi, spiking to 15, bone stock unbroken
tranny, about 3k miles. JWT clutch with 2001 disc,
holds the power great, feels great, and is neither
too much, nor too little clutch. I can roast off tires
at will.

Oh yes I daily drove 15psi with S4's and 17* timing on the high compression motor, so do not fear the DE+T!

Everyone having tranny problems needs NEEDS to get a P11 2000+ trans or a B15 trans. I've ran upwards of 28psi on the street, track and soon to be the dyno. My biggest problem is traction but when its dry and I hook up she sure as hell scoots along. All my transmission problems went out the door when i got the 2000 P11 trans. Its sooo easy to do the swap. If anything the weakest part of the motor is the LSD, it works but it can be over powered very very easy....I'm running the strongest ACT pressure plate and the stock G20 clutch disc and do not have any clutch problems, it doesn't even slip.

Every Boosted FWD SR20DET, DE-T, VE-T, VET, DETTTT for that matter needs this trans..

Mine was $1000 but it was a 12,000 mile trans. You only have to swap over the clutch throw out fork and shaft. Its only 2 roll pins. thats the "hard" part. Once you get one its cake....

I'm gonna do a write up this weekend. I had to slightly modify the clutch lever to make it fit. I took plenty of pictures. Also I found this trans for under $500 with 42k miles. I got jealous of SR20freak and went out and finally got myself a P11 trans.

Gotta love boost
So far the B15 trans has taken the moost torque without breaking.
Apparently, the B15 trannies are the strongest... Now if only they could have done the same with the ring lands on the B15 SR20..

What is exactly involved in converting a p11 or b15 trans to cable as opposed to hydraulic?

Its sooo cake. Just get one and you'll see. Its just 2 roll pins to punch out, and then rewire the rev and neutral sensors. everything else bolts and lines right up..
