Just took it apart. Only took about 10 minutes. There is a case that snaps on the back of the switch housing. You can take a couple small flatheads and pry the case off gently. It is actually a 2-piece unit and you only need to take the bigger one off. After you get it off I sprayed/soaked it with some silicone penetrating lubricant and also sprayed around the buttons to try and get some lube up in where the switch is. Seems to be working better now. YMMV, blah blah.....Good luck.
