Check out their website:

http://www.technosquareinc.com/techtom.htm

They have three available models depending on what options you want and what year your car is. The MDM-100N is for 91+ sentra's, the CMX-100N is for '91+, and the CMX-100N2 is for OBD-2 cars 96+. The CMX only display, speed, water temoerature, MAF voltage, and injector duty.

I hope this helps.

the timing is off as well as some other items

additionally, it takes time to install it

I will be using on 20 different cars.

Jason--

You want the Techtom MDM-100N. Call up Danny Lee at Technosquare, Inc. at (310) 787-0847 (they are in California and 3 hours behind) and tell him I sent you.

Don't call me. My wife might answer and she's scared of you.

Wrong, it does work on USDM motors. I have one and the timing reads the same as a Techtom does at idle, the base 15 degrees no matter what the timing is really set at. With the Mutichecker you can calibrate it to read "right" with a few button pushes. Just like the rest of the readings.
It is a pain to install, I'll give you that.

The multicheckers work on the US sr20. You would just have to know how to convert your %'s and all PS to HP etc. Myself and a few other friend have had them and used them for years. Then again we were focusing on afm %, inj % mostly. From what i remember the timing mode displayed behaved the same as the MDM100 but i could wrong.

good luck
Larry

P.S
any tracking # on jdm manny?

I bet you over $1k that it does NOT work on a FWD US Nissan SR20de for timing. it's insanely off.

I tried it with 3 different ones on 2 different cars. Maybe you have a newer design then the one I had.

p.s. that's odd, I just talked to your wife last week.

Hmm, looks like it's time to break out the timing light and compare.

Oh, and Sam, you know damn well it's not THAT hard to install. It only took me about 30 minutes. Definitely not something you'd want though, if you needed portability between cars.

Chris

OK, tell me how it is way off. Is it just at idle, or all through the rev range? I've never noticed anything odd or out of the ordinary for the timing mode. Just want to figure out what you mean and collect $1k.

Chris, I meant hard to install compared to a Techtom.
