wtb: B13 SER in Midwest

Hi,

I have been lurking on the forums for a while because I new I was going to buy an SER shortly, great stuff. Anyway, I am looking for a manual '91-94 SER to build into a rally car. I would prefer rust free, no a/c, no abs or sunroof. However, I can work around if the price is right. I am looking to spend $1000-1500.

Thanks,
Brian

Thanks goes to our very own forum lurking search-nazi, Harris. The forum wouldn't be complete if we didn't have him to report a post every 15min.

Thanks Harris

Curt

Where are you at? I've got a 1993 nx2000 that I would probably part with for $1350. It's only got 65,000 original miles, it needs a fender and has a dent in the corner of the hood though. It also has t-tops, abs, and ac so it may not be what you are looking for.

I'm in Milwaukee, WI. I prefer the Sentra over the NX because of the independent rear suspension. (I think the NX is h-beam, right?).

Thanks,
Brian

All b-13's (including nx's) have the IRS, the b-14's have the beam.

I'll pass because of the T-tops. Gotta have a car with a tin roof for racing. I can weld a sunroof, but t-tops are another story.
Thanks anyway.

By 'not pretty' are you referring to dings in the paint, or is it rusty?
How many miles on the car, and on the JDM engine? Is the engine a hi-port, 10:1 engine? Did it originally come with a manual transmission? Any other aftermarket parts and do you have any pictures?

there is 126K on the body, no rust anywhere there are some small dings here and it could use a paint job. it has white face gauges too. it comes with the MAF, full wire harness, flywheel, axles, shifter(has a ES shifter bushing), yea its a 5speed car. it has rear drum brakes because it was a 1.6 sentra but it has the ser seats, tail lights, spoiler, its a 2 door. front stainless brake lines.

as for the JDM motor it has about 70K on it now, its in my red 91 ser. its in the car right now and you can see it runn and everything but when when i sell this car i will use the rest of the money to by a DET then put that in and then sell the jdm motor for 200.

I have a 93 SER with original motor and only 74,xxx miles. It was originally maroon(ruby) but was repainted in black from previous owner in Utah. The body is in really good shape with a few dings on the driver side door. Virtually no rust other than light surface in engine bay from sitting in my yard for a few months. I took it apart to assess what may needed to be replaced due to age but havent had time to put it completely back together. I replaced all struts with KYB's and it has Eibach springs. Interior is extremely clean. Also has a Front Strut bar, and a Generic WAI. I have a Pacesetter header in the box that i havent put on yet. I was going to sand it and repaint it. I can take pictures for you of the inside, trunk, exterior, engine bay if you would like. I really dont know how much to ask for so I can let you decide how much it would be worth for you. I live in Tyler, Texas as well so dont know if thats too far. LEt me know

Sorry, I have been away from the computer for awhile. Does it run now and is it driveable? That will significantly affect the offer! I would like to see some pics. Thanks.

I will take some pics this week for you. It is driveable but I need to get a battery, new belts, and put some small pieces back on in the engine bay to get it to start.
