Fast NW guys

Looks like the NW has the top three NA (non-NOS) times listed on this forum:

You guys had better be prepared to defend your honor at the Friday night drags at the Nat Convention!

With slicks, a good driver, and mild weather the car is capable of running into the 13's. With me driving on street tires I'll be lucky to get into the 14's.

Anyone have a set of slicks I could use for a couple runs down in AZ?

well, i'm debating whether or not to bring the nitrous bottle down with me. what do you guys think? the car will be capable of running mid 13's with street tires on the bottle, or low 15's off the bottle. hmmmm.

bring the bottle!

you ran some very low 14's with the origional motor, right? 1/2 sec. means like an extra 40-50hp over that motor? have you upped to a 100 shot or what?

no ric, not that much gain :p ! i ran a 14.1 @ 99 mph on my 96 motor with stock nissan manifold and nissan exhaust. now with a header, magnaflow race muffler, and higher compression, i'm hoping to pick up 3 or 4/10's in the quartermile. we'll see though, definately in the 13's for sure, which is my goal. i think it was Jay H. that ran a 13.1 on slicks with a JWT 50 shot and bolt-ons and a 2.0 60' foot. this is all assuming *i* figure out how to get some good 60' times !!

I can easily carry two complete sets in my car and a third set if I really had to. Six tires will be no problem.
