Well if anyone wants to lend some knowledge and help for my lil project that would be dope..
I am basicly taking a DET turbo and slapping it on to my USDM Sr20..
nothing big but I feel it's a start and well i like turbo .. and the DET turbo is small and a good start..
So you all are near the bay area? I dont know that many people over here who know nissans as well as you kats...
When I get everything ready anyone down to show me the ropes and help me out?? I no auto pro.. I'm sure the turbo will be semi easy to bolt on and what not, but I'm wise enough to not act as if I know the world and jack something up..
So let me know if you all are down to lend some advise, help and knowledge. It would be dope if you can...

Sub Function.. there are alot of se-r guys up in the bay "representin". You just haven't met them. More than you can imagine, at least 5 turbo guys and many more highly modded cars. I don't know where you mean when you mention "representing". Like I said most of the dudes are hardcore track and or drag strip racers. We do have our resident turbo rice boy *cough* irwin *cough*. But everyone else is into serious motorsports and not into show crap and or street racing shiznit.

Well my whole purpose of throwing these meets is to meet people who are around my area... I used to be a street racer but I grew out of that quick... this was back when I had my rx7... since then I picked up my 200sx and want to go out and run on the track..
I have a trubo project I am about to begin...hopefully when I get it installed I can hit up the track and see how it runs..
But anyhow.. advise and possible help on install is all I was asking.. Noticing that you all are hardcore in it made me look into this thread. Since 90% of you are not NA, I figured you'd have legit knowledge (which you do) and could help a borther out..plus your in my neck of the woods.. or close to it..
Hehehe, you just gotta be careful with our thugs - cursed92 and 91shizzle. I bet once you meet them, you'll see that they're cool guys. Just like the rest of the NA Alliance.
Good luck on your turbo project. If you really would like help, the best way is to organize a geek-out. We used to have 'em a lot, but a lot of us have been busy with other stuff. Or they just kind of happen spontaneously. But if you're serious about this turbo project, get all your parts (the info in these forums should help), get a location nailed down with a lot of space and tools, invite as many people as you can, encourage them to do small maintenance things to their cars so it's everyone kind of helping everyone, and make sure to treat all your helpers to lots of pizza and beer. (Believe me, it'll end up cheaper than a shop doing it, promise )
It's a great way to meet some new people and get some knowledge on working on cars. I'm willing to meet different people in the Bay too, so just let us know and I'm sure some of us might check it out.
