Where to pass smog in S.d with a pacesetter header? if i tell them its stock will they know?

I'm not in S.D but in the Bay Area, I passed with awhile ago *** I hd My PaceSetter header. The actual reading way .73 with other mods. The max is like 1.00.

You should be able to pass the test. If you take it to a Vallero Station (Gas With the aiutmotive repair station), They seem not to be so much in tune with the whole MOD's.

Never Less I passed with no problems. At the most they well tell you, That you have failed th visual. With headers you should have no problem passing.

Before smog..

Run 91 + Octane Gas.
Run a Octane Booster
A Engine Valve Clearer. Something Like Prolong.

This actually helped me. I tested before this and after the additives and my Nox dropped pretty low.

So i should be alright then right? I have a Hotshot header installed in my car. I have been worrying about passing my emission in cali. I will do what you said, or just unbolt my header and put back the stock one.

go to one of those ghetto places around main st in otay, they'll probably do it for the smog fee and an extra 12-pack

I have a se-r with a det, and I need to smog the thing in JULY. Does anyone know were to go for a ghetto smog$$$$$ in San Diego, will the blue bird sr20det run clean at a referee?

SO I FINALLY GET OFF MY ASS AND TAKE IT IN.. the guy doesnt even notice the header or intake .. or really care for that matter.. so i think its all good.. but my engine light is on.. so i failed for that.. and i think it may be the cause of me FAILING THE BREATHER AT 15 AND 20 MPH..!! at first i thought it may be crap from teh header.. but my dad was like that shouldnt affect it.. i failed in the NO section.. i think nitrox oxide..? but i dont know what to do now.. do i go to nissan? was it the light messign my emissions up or the header.. if i get the light fixed will i pass?,,??

If you guys need a place to smog let me know by private message. There will have to be $$ invovled. But it would only be worth it if you needed to smog a turbo vehicle. My 200sx read 120ppm and max was 60ppm. Also the smog shop is up here in LA county area. Thanks
