I passed by that wreck, i just assumed someone got squirrely on some ice and hit the guard rail there was enough people stopped there so i just kept going....all i saw was that smashed integra...damn, did the driver make it out?
I also saw 4 more wrecks about 4 miles up the highway, an IS300 wrapped around a tree on the southbound side of the freeway state patrol just arrived , a Jeep smashed into the center barrier ems on scene, a pickup truck down into a ditch w/ state patrol on scene and a buick or something in the ditch just before sea-tac airport state patrol on scene...it was a mess out there.
Yeah they said she made it out alive, but her driver side door was jammed and compartment was filling with water of course.
i went and had a great time. i think last year the cars were better, but this year i had a better exprerience. our convoy that left from home depot was right behind the BK lounge convoy. we also hit the ice. pretty sketch.
as far as kicking taurus out, you didnt HAVE to leave, you just HAD to move. had nothing to do with the NWN ppl in charge, just the PO PO. i was in that lot as well, and they made us move around 1, so we bailed. but we were still there from 8ish-1ish.
i was dissapointed in the idiots doing burnouts and speeding away. the amount of super gay honda's, the amount of evo's and subie's. last year, there wasnt as many.
ill try to get alllllll the pic's we got, and some of the video of me and my friend dragging super hard core in the capital lol.

yea i know the NWN guys had no control over it...but i was under the impression that this was already in the green with the SPD and the Seattle recreation department..thats what pissed me off. I saw a bunch of SR20 guys roll in but then they went around the round about and never saw them again..oh well meet you guys face to face some other time...any idea when yall havin a smaller meet. I decided to boost my car (ad for parts in wanted section) since all the bov's and spooling turbos gave me the fever again.
the problem with having meets on here is no one likes to show.
as far as being inline with the SPD, they were. and i dont even know if they had the right to move us, seeing as how it was a public park. but i guess its best not to argue with the law, especially when they could have handed out 100+ parking tickets lol.

What I heard was the wedding people had that small building reserved today. So of course the parks and recreation people are going to try and help those people continue on.
I had an ok time. I dont think im ever going to a NWN event again. Im so tired of seeing 240's. Everyone and their dog has a 240. I used to have some interest in them, now I roll my eyes at them like every other riced out Honda i see. Apparently every one of them has super cool drifting skills as well.
There were some very cool cars, just not enough FWD's imo. I want to have a big fwd nissan meet. Now that would be sweet...but as Caleb said, no one ever shows.
now that my car runs an drives you'll prolly see me around more.. i get my ecu tomorrow .. the damn summit vvl switch is busted *** so i gotta return that

You even said to me when you confirmed my pizza prediction that you guys didn’t want to be tied down to the BBQ all day.
I was told that City of Seattle staff contacted Gaelen at least a month ago to tell him to get a permit. I was also told that the effort to get a permit was limited to hassling SKsilvia to do it. I was also told that NWN was also informed about the wedding at this time. I also heard -- and this has been reflected by the mod comments I have seen in this thread so far -- that the staff did not want to be tied down working at the meet. Funny that this year, this time, this event with only canadian managers and no American workers no one could be bothered to cook for the promised free bbq. Never mind that you guys posted up advertising a free bbq. If you don’t want to work at meets then you should not be a mod, that’s my opinion anyway –make room for the workers.
I’m sure you will make some claims that the police shut you down, never mind they called you a month ago. Getting permits and insurance is really hard – I know because I have done it. Anyway, the supercool officer that came and talked to us at the KICK ASS bbq, told us to wrap it up when we were done eating. Not right now, not hurry up – just please when you can put it away. He also informed us that we could use the BBQ pits all day with no permit at all – the free standing BBQ was the problem.
So please be honest about why there was no BBQ.
So pizza was decided on, again Canadian management rounded up the only American worker they could find and started sweating him to find a pizza place. I don’t know who finally went and got the 80 slices for 600+ people math solution started but I guess that’s enough when you just drop them on your hood and start eating.
As far as only four moderators, that’s more than enough people. Your excuses ring hollow. Most of the people there don’t know or care about how NWN takes all of the WA and OR members for granted but it can’t last forever. Pretty soon it will be NWNcraigslist just like Colin wants. I have to hand it to you though Colin, once again you were right.
As far as the comments about the quality and variety of cars, honestly? Show me buckets, show me sunken battle ships, show me a 370Z, show me a Cressy, show me a civic or just show me a Honda odyssey just show me what you’re working with. It’s all cars and it’s all love. Everyone should feel welcomed.
GG has not and will not EVER outgrow it’s current location, I was wrong when I said that before. All it has outgrown is the motivation of the current detached canadian modstaff.
Gaelen, Carlos or Dan I honestly challenge you to leave this up, don’t ban me again. Step up and debate the facts. If and when you do delete I will just keep rolling in here on various proxies and post it over and over and over again. I know you abhor debate but show NWN you care and at least address these accusations.
come to blue lake this year guys, its in portland, its actually a datsun show but all nissan/datsuns are welcome.. its a much better show, well as far as they actually do what they say they're going to... we never have problems with people acting stupid.. and i been tryin to get more sr type cars involved... budgetNX went last year, dont think he really liked it ***.. but if we could get more sr powered B series cars there i think it would rock
