Well yesterday I attended Northeast SE-R dyno day at Englishtown. Well the dyno seemed to be f*cked up, but thats another story.

Anyways, I came .3 tenths of second closer to my goal of 14's this season in the drags. I had 4 runs. I ran two 15.3's, one 15.9 and the following:

R/T .656
60' 2.380
330 6.502
1/8 9.841
MPH 73.47
1000 12.701
1/4 15.150
MPH 90.12

15.15 @ 90.12. I am now only .16 away from 14's.
I ran up against a Honda Accord that run.....he ran a 16.9

Great job Jordan. I'll be at the track more often now working on everything. To tell you the truth my R/T was decent but I don't know where I messed up...Any suggestions?

Great job! Was this with a full interior, or do you take out seats, etc...

Now, all you need is that ECU.

Peter it is most definately your 60' foot time. I don't remember exactly what you said they were but I think like 2.6's? The 60' foot is probably the most important. If you practice enough and can get your 60' down to like 2.2's you be really well off.

My 60' foot on the 15.1 run wasn't even that good either.

I DOOOO need an ECU. BAD! I'm pretty sure with an ECU I'll be doing 14's. Hell, with a good launch I may have even got 14's last night. I couldn't get into the 2.2 60' foots, which was my goal.

Oh and BTW, I had taken out the spare tire and jack, and the front passenger seat. I'm not even sure if this did anything as my car with me in it weighed about 2700lbs on the scale.

Good Job Jordan

You need an ECU. Also you need an exhaust. You have the S4 cams and an exhaust will help with the breathing. And all that talk about 98s being slow off line w/o the LSD is BS. You do not even have pulleys. Post this on Club SI and let us have some fun with the yocals

That's a good weight. My '91 SE-R with a full interior, me in the driver's seat, and half a tank of gas, as I said before, weighs just under 2800 pounds (although I've been trying to remove some stray items/tools here and there since that weighing).

Is your timing really at 19 degrees as it says on your homepage? If so, turn it down to 15 degress, or maybe even 13 degrees. The S3/S4 cams do not like timing advance.

How did your dyno turn out? Can we see a chart, or can you at least tell us what the peak HP/Torque figures were, and where they occur?

I agree. I need an exhaust and ECU badly. Oh and BTW, I already posted it on ClubSI in the SVA section, titled "Why no Si's at Dyno day" or something.

Actually no, thats out of date. My timing was at 19 then when the s4's were installed we dropped it down to 15.

BTW, I didn't get a chance to dyno. Plenty of others did and I'm sure they'll post theres.

Peter...to tell you the truth, your reaction time doesnt have anythign to do wiht oyur quarter mile time. You can leave the light with a .500 reaction time, or a 2.00 reaction time and still get a 15.9. The reaction time is only for use if you are comparing with someone, or racing someone else. Your 60' was great. I have yet to hit a 2.2! So keep doing whatever it is oyu are doing when you launch.
he only thing that i think can speed oyu up now is shifting....I think if you practice shifting a little quicker(taking less time between gears) your 1/4 mile times will come down. You could also not listenb to me at all lol, cuz last time i went i sucked i missed 3rd gear 2 times in a row
Im gonna hopefully fix that this weekend. Me and Jordan and anybody else who wants to come are Going to Island Dragway in NJ.

Peter, we might go this Friday. Island is about a half hour from my house or a little more. It's alot farther from you I think. It's in West-Central NJ.

Thats crazy. I still can't believe that time. Sure your looking at the correct side of the timeslip?

2.325 was the best 60' I ever got and that was before my cams.
