Ok here's the deal. When stroking an SR16VE to a SR20VE, i've read that if you use a DE piston, the skirts need to be notched out. How much do they have to be notched out? Also, does the DE piston really need valve reliefs? TIA

If you do not notch the piston skirt it will hit the oil squirter. The best way to do this is to get your hands on a DET piston which comes with oil squirters and use it as a reference. I can also do this service if needed.

How about valve reliefs, do I really need to do this? What do you think about using some 10:1 pistons? TIA
