i am loving the advanced timing, don't worry about that. and i'm running premium too. here's my question:

the pickup at 4 grand on my car is virtually nonexistant. on every other se-r i've driven (minus the one with the failing headgasket) the powerband kicks in hardcore at 4,000rpm. my white one has really never had this. it will start picking up at around 4,200-4,300rpm, but it doesn't feel as strong. with the upped timing now, 5,000 feels like my car has cams in it. it'll jump 500rpm almost instantly and really pull hard. on a good day money says i could chirp 3rd gear all day, it feels insane. i reset my ecu to get it to "learn" my driving style, but my 4,000rpm powerband kick in is still not there. it still kicks in, but it's not as strong as my other sr20de products are. why? is it just this motor, or what?

sorry if this doesn't make sense, i'm on aim and really busy right now. if you need me to re-explain it, i will.
