Is this the same as the sending unit that always goes bad? My gas mileage is ass-tastic and I think I need a new sending unit. I've tried to search on this but am still confused. If these are the same I might be interested. Need some details though like age, mileage from car they came off of, etc. Thanks.

One is from a 91 SER(97xxx) n the other is 93 SER(50xxx). I dont know what you mean by sending unit. I might be interested in the one from the '93. Let me check though on whether not this is what I need. I'll get back to you asap.
