Is it better to run 205's on a 7" rim or on a 6.5" rim? Does it matter? The other question is the profile size. I know part of my fitment problem came from having 55 size. When I get the 205/50R15's (either Azenis, Ziex's, T1-S, or 4's), I don't want to be close to having the same problem of hitting the spring perch on the strut. Is it better to have the tire wall flush or tuck in?
thanks...

When you run with a 205 tire on a 6.5 inch wheel youdon't have as big of a contact patch, as you do when running the tire on a 7 inch wheel, because the tire will be more square.. don't think it should be that much of a difference. Chad.

205's will go on both, but the 7" wheel will make more of a contact patch with the road due to the above listed reason. I have 205's on both my stock wheels (205/50) and on my 7" wide 16's and 17's. And if I had a 7.5" wide wheel, I'd go 215 on the section width. I've had 215's also and they worked well with no problems.
